Dance and Sway in Highschool Day

March 22,2024, it was our highschool day. From the youngest to the oldest students, they danced their hearts out. Seeing all the different dances from each grade came up with. Before the highschool day we practiced for weeks, and even though we didn't win, we still had fun.It wasn't about getting first place but about being together and enjoying the moment.

Each grade had their own style, and it was cool to see how everyone expressed themselves. We watched, we cheered each other on, and even when someone messed up, we just kept going. When the music stopped, and everyone went home, I felt relieved that it was over. We realized that being together and having fun was way more important than winning.

We had danced, cheered, ate lunch together, and made memories that will stick with us. That day, even if it was just 1 one day, ISNHS showed how much we care about each other. On how much fun we can have when we all come together even though we did not win, at least we went home thinking that we did our best.

Unraveling the Last Quarter

This past fourth quarter has been a whirlwind of learning and practical application. I discovered the intricacies of web design, going beyond simple text and images to understanding layout, navigation, and user experience with the use of Microsoft FrontPage. This quarter highlighted the power of combining technical skills with creative thinking to effectively communicate ideas and findings.

However, I also encountered several challenges along the way. With FrontPage, I initially struggled with understanding some of the software's interface and troubleshooting technical glitches that arose during the design process even if it is kind of similar with the MS Word. In addressing the issue that I have encountered on MS FrontPage, I relied heavily on asking my teachers and classmates to comprehend more about it. Which is really helpful for me that I was able to finish it quickly.

Moving forward, I will continue to cultivate my technical and design skills, seeking opportunities to refine my abilities in web development and visual communication. I aim to continue learning, contribute to meaningful projects and applying the lessons learned this quarter.

Fifteen Years Forward

Fifteen years from now, I envision myself not just having achieved my dreams, but living them fully. My days are filled with purpose, driven by a passion that has only grown stronger over time. I've cultivated a career that allows me to continuously learn and innovate, pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.

Beyond professional success, I see a life balanced with personal fulfillment. I've prioritized my well-being, both physically and mentally, ensuring that I have the energy and clarity to pursue my goals. I've nurtured my personal relationships, creating a loving and supportive environment for myself and those I care about. I've also dedicated time to giving back to my community, using my skills and resources to empower others and create positive change.

Ultimately, fifteen years from now, I see myself as a person who has embraced growth, resilience, and purpose. I've faced challenges with courage and learned from every experience, both successes and setbacks. I've stayed true to my values, never compromising my integrity for short-term gains. I've built a life that I'm proud of, one that reflects my passions, my values, and my unwavering belief in my ability to achieve my dreams.

WE for Equality, Women's Month and Beyond

This year's Women's Month theme, "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society," resonates deeply, highlighting the crucial need for collective action. This emphasis the interconnectedness of our society, where progress for one group benefits everyone. It's a call to dismantle systemic barriers, challenge ingrained biases, and foster environments where all individuals, regardless of gender, can thrive and contribute their unique talents.

The inclusive society is equally vital. It moves beyond simply recognizing women's rights to actively creating spaces where they feel valued, respected, and empowered. Not just women but for also men. This involves ensuring equal access to opportunities in education, employment, leadership, and decision-making processes. Real inclusion requires a conscious effort to break down power imbalances and create a culture of respect and understanding.

Generally, "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" is a powerful reminder that gender equality is not a women's issue, but a societal imperative. It demands a collaborative approach where men and women work together to build a more just and equitable future. By embracing this collective responsibility, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to a thriving, inclusive society.
